pcProx Reader for G-Prox ll Proximity Cards
The pcProx G-Prox ll Readers supports G-Prox ll proximity cards allowing end users to read all identification information into any application running under Windows 98, 2000, or XP. Organizations can allow employees to identify themselves with other independent software such as Excel, Access or any in-house created application.
The end user may selectively include/exclude any card information by configuring the reader. Additionally, the user may format the facility and ID codes, define separator characters, and append characters such as CR or TAB to the ID to further enhance using reader with a 3rd party applications.
The pcProx Reader for G-Prox ll Proximity Cards comes in several versions to meet your specific needs:
USB - USB plug/play reader for key-stroking card information to location of the cursor on the screen. Requires USB port and an operating system that supports USB devices.
RS-232 - Serial port reader with ASCII output at 9600,N,8,1 no handshaking.
RS-232 with External 5 or 9 volt supply - Serial port reader with ASCII output at 9600,N,8,1 no handshaking and cabling to accept the 5 or 9 vdc supply.

Features
The USB model connects directly to USB port and sends as keystrokes. The RS-232 model
connects to a standard serial PC COM port, or hardware wedge, and sends data as ASCII.

Compatible with Windows CE, 98SE, 2000, XP, Vista, Macintosh, Linux. No client side software is required.
